Attention to Parents of Students Riding the Bus
Students may pick up a card indicating their specific bus information from the school they attend after Monday, August 30th. Please do NOT call the Transportation office until after you have reviewed this card. If there are errors, omissions or further questions, please contact the Transportation Department at (250) 748-1066 loc. 272. <more>

School Bus Schedule Changes
In an effort to keep as many dollars as possible in the classroom, the School District has changed the way it operates the school bus fleet. We have changed the routes, reduced the number of bus stop locations and changed the pick-up and drop-off times for students, starting in September this year. The buses will stay on better travelled roads and students will need to make their own way to the bus stop.<more>

School District No. 79 (Cowichan Valley) is pleased to announce the following assignments effective August 1, 2010.
PRINCIPAL OF COWICHAN SECONDARY SCHOOL
Mr. Charlie Coleman has been assigned to the position of Principal of Cowichan Secondary School. He is currently the Principal of Quamichan Middle School. Mr. Coleman has been a teacher and an administrator in the district for twenty-one years. <more>
