News Item - CHSS student honored as an "Amazing Kid"

On Thursday, April 14th Daniella Loscerbo, Grade 11 student at Chemainus Secondary School was honored by “A” Channel Television in Victoria as an “Amazing Kid”. Along with the recognition comes a $1000 award which was presented to her on the evening newscast.

The following text is from the television station ......

“Chemanius 17-year-old Daniella Loscerbo is a driven and dedicated student at Chemanius Secondary. She's a member of the SHOE (Students Helping Our Earth) group as well as several environmental groups. She's a top student, plays volleyball for her school and a club team in Duncan and is working her way towards her lifeguard certificate. That's not all though, she also plays sax for her school concert and jazz bands. She's described by her principal as "well-rounded" and is a leader and role model amongst her peers. A busy schedule and a top student make Daniella a truly Amazing Kid!”
