Learning Intention:
I can share my understanding of the story "The Enemy" in words and images pictures
Technology Skills:
- I can use the application Grab to capture an image and text - and save the file in My Pictures folder
- I can use the application Audacity to create an mp3 sound file - and save the file in My Music folder
- I can drag images and sound files onto Keynote slides
- I can add transitions and timing to the slides so the slideshow runs to tell the story
Process:
(Part A - collecting the images/text from the story)
1. Mr. McCuish will share the story "The Enemy" with the students in class
2. Students will practice capturing an image with the application Grab

3. Students will 'capture' the 2 pictures each from the beginning, the middle and end of the story "The Enemy" that they feel are most important in retelling the story. For saving, encourage students to create a folder in the My Pictures folder of their account called "The Enemy" and save the pictures for the beginning of the story as "beg1.tiff", "beg2.tiff"; from the middle as "mid1.tiff", "mid2.tiff", etc
4. Students will record mp3 files of the text from each of the 6 pictures they have selected from 'The Enemy"
