Crossing the Cultural Divide   Grade 9 First Nations students from Block D on February 23^rd , February  29^th and March 6^th will be working on a project called Crossing the Cultural Divide in Room 216.  Thanks to teachers for releasing these students so they can participate in this project.  (Mrs. Myhre)

Energy Drinks

If you read the back of the can of a “Monster”, “Full Throttle” or “Rock Star” energy drink you will find that they are loaded with caffeine, sugar amongst other things.  We have spoken with PAC and the District about how we can reduce the number of students drinking these things and have decided that these items inhibit learning at Quamichan.  Our plan is to take them away, put the student’s name on the can and hold it in the office until the end of the school day for the student to pick up.  We plan to start this system after the Winter Break.  If you have any concerns, please contact Mr. Rowan or Ms. Garvey at school.

Student Fees     ………..just a reminder for students to please pay their $20.00 student fee to the Office if you have not yet done so.

Yearbook…..if you still wish to purchase a Yearbook, they are $35.00 payable to the Office.

Rugby    …………Any grade 9 boys interested in playing rugby can go to Cow High and practice on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays
