schools. The units are organized by grade level, and within
grade level by subject area. The lessons plans are detailed, and seem
ideal for guiding homeschool learning projects. Click on the links

Learning Page provides a huge collection of professionally produced
instructional materials that are free to download and print. Lesson
plans, books, worksheets, and much more can be found here. Another
good source for homeschool projects. You must become a member to access
most of the materials, but membership is free.

This site is amazing. It has excellent worksheet generating progams
for math, telling time, measurement....as well as activities for other
subject areas. There is a lot here, and spending a little time following
the links will turn up treasures!
Games for the Brain
A cool website full of games that make your head hurt. The best part is, after spending a good part of an hour playing them you can reassure yourself that it was time well spent and that you're that much smarter for the playing.

An excellent site for building keyboarding skills--best for Grades 3 to 7.
Students progress through several levels as they become more competent with keyboarding tasks. Lively animals guide them through keyboard familiarity with hands-on exercises.

This is the only online chess club I can find that has no advertising an no trash talk. Cost is $25.00 per year for students, $50.00 per year for adults. It offers a 7-day free trial.
