This Week in School
(June 22nd to June 29th, 2010)

At the beach to celebrate Earth Day

A budding PIL artist--Vincent van Gogh would love it, too!

Notes:
End-of-year Field trip:
I'm hoping for sunshine for Thursday! Please pack for any weather, as we don't have a back-up date. Pack a nice lunch and something to drink. We will spend much of our time on the beach, so sand pails and little shovels would be nice to have. Remember, though, that students must carry their own stuff (I'm getting older, I guess).
Garden News:
Thank you to the Boys and Girls Club for volunteering to look after the garden during the summer. The garden was started by Partners In Learning as a way of contributing something enduring to the rest of the school. With the grant that we're receiving from the Western Wildlife Federation, and with the growing interest of a few of our staff, it looks like it has been a successful project. Thank you, especially, to Carol, Elizabeth, and Ann for all you've done to make it work.
Tuesday
A regular day.
Wednesday
A regular day.
Thursday (see note above)
Field trip day! We'll leave the school at approximately 9:00, and will return at approximately 3:00. We may be a bit late. Call me on my cell at 250-327-6668 if you need me during the day. If I don't answer, I'm probably driving.
Friday
Will be a sad day without you all . . . .

Please let me know about sites you would like me to add to Student Links.
