George Bonner Middle School draws its population from a widespread area – including Spectacle Lake on the top of the Malahat, Shawnigan Lake, Mill Bay, Cobble Hill and Cowichan Station. Bonner features "Teaming" – 2 or 3 teachers from different subjects, sharing the instructional responsibility for a common group of students, with common planning time, in a common area of the building. A flexible block schedule that allows teachers to organize their day, daily Physical Education and exploratories for all students are also offered.
