The CCSA is a registered non-profit society governed by a volunteer board composed of community members and school personnel.
CECS is an officially designated community school working in partnership with the CCSA. The CCSA office is located in the school, which is a base for many CCSA activities.
A community school can provide programs, connections, resources, support and opportunities for the benefit of the entire community. Everyone is welcome to participate in CCSA activities.

The Chemainus Community Schools' Association is committed to contributing to the richness of our entire community by providing opportunities for lifelong learning.
Chemainus Elementary School provides access to the Internet for members of our community in partnership with the Chemainus Public Library and Chemainus Chamber of Commerce under the Community Access Program funded by the Federal government.
