and Vice Principal Message
At
Quamichan, we believe we can make a positive difference in
a student’s life, We believe that education is an evolving
project where best teaching practices are utilized, strategies
and programs are designed to foster greater student success,
and growth plans are developed based on data and critical
evidence to monitor that success. We are confident that by
ensuring a safe and caring environment, hope will develop
in our students, parents and teachers; hope for our future.
Students come in all shapes and sizes; each child is unique
and special and deserves to be included. At the school, enough
variables are controlled that virtually all students learn
and are able to meet the high expectations of the staff. Effective
teaching by using best teaching practices are at the heart
of our school. Teaching children is not solely about academics
but also about teaching the whole child. The family may determine
whether or not students flourish in school however, schools
are primarily responsible for whether or not students function
adequately.
