Principal's Message
This is my seventh year as principal of Alex Aitken Elementary and I am proud to be associated with such a great school. There is a real sense of family here. Many of the staff have been here for a number of years and the PAC group is very active in all aspects of the school operation. The school has a strong focus on academics and many Alex Aitken students go on to do very well at the middle school and high school levels.
Alex Aitken is a school rich with tradition. From field trips to science fairs and sporting events there is an activity for children of all ability levels. Our behaviour plan is based on the “high five” which encourages responsibility, respect, cooperation, safety and kindness to others. The facility itself is in a beautiful rural location and there was an extensive renovation completed in 1993.
There is an open door policy at Alex Aitken so if you would like to visit simply stop by the school, check in at the office, have a look around and see for yourself what a great school it is.
Alex Aitken is the place to be!
