District Student Advisory Committee

Mandate of DSAC

The District Student Advisory Committee of School District #79 is the voice of our student body. It offers a mechanism for the exchange of information between students and board members, allowing for student input into decisions affecting both intra-curricular and extra-curricular school experiences. DSAC promotes positive interschool relations and representation from District 79′s large and diverse geographical area. DSAC also provides students an opportunity to demonstrate leadership skills by reporting out at the meetings and then back at their schools.

 

DSAC Backpack Project 2012

On December 5, 2012 the District Student Advisory Committee filled 58 backpacks for Cowichan Valley youth in need.  Backpacks were presented to Community Options Society to distribute.
